Single Vision Lenses

Your prescription can be altered and changed accordingly depending on your vision needs. Single vision lenses only have one vision correction and would be made according to your specific needs. They can be made into the following:

Reading Glasses
Distance Glasses
Computer Glasses

There are also anti-fatigue lenses which essentially are single vision lenses; however, there is a small circle on the bottom of your lenses with a small add power. These lenses offer more comfort and ideal for students or anyone who requires a small add power without wanting to go to a bifocal lens yet.

Bi-Focal / Progressive / Office Lens

Bi-focal lenses are suited for individuals who are not quite ready for progressive but still need help with their reading. These individual’s prescription would normally have an ADD power of +1.00 to +1.50.

Progressive lenses are made for individuals who require assistance in three areas of vision. Distance, Intermediate and Near.

Office Lens has two vision corrections, one is for looking at the computer screen from their office desk and the second is for reading documents and papers. Since this lens only has two zones, it has less distortion than progressive lens.

Prescription Sunglasses

Having prescription sunglasses means protecting your eyes from the harmful UV rays from the sun. At Not Another Eye Store, we have a vast collection of sunglasses styles you can choose from. We can tint your sunglasses to any color of the rainbow. All of our sunglass lenses come with UV 400, anti-reflective coating, easy clean coating and anti-scratch.

If you’re looking for extra protection against glare then we have a polarized option you can choose from. Polarization will help you see the fish in the water or protect your eyes from the sun reflection off cars.

Coatings

We can customize the type of coatings you want to fit your life style. The standard for all lenses are anti-reflective coating, anti-scratch and easy clean coating. If you want to upgrade the standard coatings, we have anti-smudge coating to help repel dust and dirt from collecting on the lens.

Blue Light: Prolonged use of digital devices omit blue rays which can harm your eyes, not allowing you to sleep at night, or gives you eye fatigue or strain. Our blue light lenses helps block these harmful rays from entering your eyes and allows you to use your digital devices with ease.

Transitions: Rather than switching between your eyeglasses and sunglasses, you can have a two-in-one deal with transitions. We have a wide selection of colors to choose from, rather than just the regular grey, brown, or green. This color changes to a specific tint depending on light conditions outside, and change back to a clear lens when indoors. You can also have a mirror coating adding a little bit more character to your everyday look.

Polarized lenses: Polarized lenses help eliminate glare from horizontal surfaces, such as water, the road, and snow, shining directly into your eyes. If you spend a lot of time driving or by the water, we can fit you into the right pair of polarized lenses for you.

Prescription Safety Lenses

Our prescription safety lenses meet safety standards (CSA Z94.3 or ANSI Z87.1), shielding your eyes from debris, impact, and hazards. Built for durability and clarity, they provide reliable protection while matching your vision needs. Stay safe without compromising comfort or style.

Universal Goggle Inserts

Convert your own Goggles to a prescription goggle with our universal prescription lenses inserts. Suitable for Snowboarding, Ski, Motor-cross and Paintball goggles.

Just like your prescription glasses, these goggle inserts are custom made to fit you. Please bring in your goggles beforehand to ensure proper measurements and fittings.
