Two Calgary brothers built VSHN, Alistar & Fisaly after walking away from successful medical careers. With over 10 years of design experience, they wanted to create eyewear that felt good, looked unique, and stayed affordable.

Created in 1980's by Georgio Armani. Surprisingly, his first career choice wasn't fashion. He went into medicine and military service, and realized it wasn't for him. Since then, Georgio has been claimed the most successful designer of Italian Origin by 2001, with a total of 12 successful labels.


Creators of the aviator style, established in 1937. There's actually a little story to it that no one really knows! They created the aviators for a military pilot in WW2, to combat the bright sun. So they called themselves, Ray Ban since they "banned" the sun-rays entering the eyes!
