How often should I have an eye exam?

It is recommended that adults have an eye exam every 2 years. Comparatively, Children and seniors should be going every year. However, we can provide you with a sight test which is the exact same experience as an eye exam, but without testing the health of your eye. Above all, our sight tests are only $60 in comparison to comprehensive eye exams which can range anywhere from $120-$200. Although, we have continuous promotions on our sight tests. Can I get my frames adjusted?

At Not Another Eye Store (NAES), we do free adjustments for all our customers anytime they call or come in. Moreover, along with adjustments we always provide you with the full set; Tightening all the screws, super clean your glasses (in our ultrasonic cleaner if you would like), and give them a nice shine before you walk out with them! Again, you can come in anytime as many times for adjustments and we will be more than happy to help you.

Do I need blue-light protection glasses?

Blue light is a growing problem ever since everyone around the world has access to some type of technology (cellphones, tablets, computers, tv). Moreover, if you have eye strain, eye fatigue, or difficulty sleeping at night, you may benefit from using blue-light filtering lenses. In addition, blue light also offers additional UV protection from the sun. We offer high index prescription as well as non prescription blue light lenses, so come in and let us help you pick the right glasses for you!

Is it worth it to buy frames online?

Online shops do not measure your optical centre or properly cut out to your pupil distance as they are unable to see you in person. These measurements are paramount to delivering customized lenses for optimal vision which differ in every patient. Additionally, we can customize your lenses further by measuring your pantoscopic tilt, face form angle and vertex distance offering you the best vision.

I don’t have a prescription but I still want glasses for fashion. What can I do?

You can come in to our store and select from the wide range of frames we carry. Furthermore, we can provide you with blue-light lenses, transitions or non-polarized/polarized sunglasses if you would like.

We direct bill for prescription eyeglasses to a number of providers, including, but not limited to:

How do I know which frames fit my face?

Find a frame that is as wide as the widest part of your face, which is the area around the eyes! We have over 750 + frames from local and designer brands to suit your style! From something unique, funky, fun, modern or classic. In other words, we have something for everyone, so come in and let one of us help you choose a frame you’ll love.

What colors can I get my sunglasses in? What about Transitions?

We can do many different colors of prescription and non prescription sunglasses. If you wish to match a color that you previously had, we can do that as well. Moreover, we have a pallet to choose from if you would like to do mirror tinting.

Transitional lenses usually come in grey, brown, or green but we are also able to do amber, sapphire, emerald, and amethyst.

How affordable are your eyeglasses? I don’t want to spend so much!

How long will my glasses take to make? What is the estimated lead time?

Our estimated lead time is 3-10 business days, and we usually get them back within the 5 days. However, if you need a rush order, depending on your prescription, we can receive your glasses back the next business day with a small additional charge.

What is the best way to take care of my glasses?

The best way to clean your glasses is with a clean lens cloth, along with some cleaning solution. Although, if you don’t happen to have cleaning solution, you can clean your glasses with soft soap under warm water, never hot! Nevertheless, please don’t use any harsh chemicals, especially on the lenses as it may corrode the coating on your lenses. For instance, Windex or any similar glass cleaning solution which contains ammonia.
